Update: Adult Social Care workshops at Better Connected Live, May 25th in Birmingham

Posted on 28 April 2016 (Permalink)

The workshops are part of a larger, two-day programme bringing together public service leaders at all levels, across a range of services.

In the morning workshop, MARK GOLLEDGE, Programme Manager – Health and Care Informatics, Local Government Association and TERRY DAFTER, Chair ADASS Informatics Network will present on Local digital roadmaps and Social Care Digital Maturity Self-Assessment.  There will also be presentations from the Better Connected research on the performance of social care online.

The afternoon workshops will feature presentations from the TINDER FOUNDATION on Digital health literacy, a community-based approach and Digital inclusion and social care. We will also hear from DOTEVERYONE about the Digital Exclusion Heatmap, a tool that provides detail for every local authority about exclusion challenges within their footprint.

Finally there will be roundtable discussion on information and support social care professionals would like to see on 'care apps'. This anticipates ADASS's Care Apps Showcase that will take place in Birmingham in November.
