About

Welcome to the WM ADASS & IEWM Personalisation Network which provides details about its work that is being delivered in 2015-16.
The main areas of focus for the network in 2015-16 is to support all local authorities to improve their use of personalisation, and the impact it makes on people’s lives, whatever their current status as regards to the implementation of personalisation.
This is being delivered through:
• Supporting the implementation of Care Act (CA) and Better Care Fund (BCF) delivery through personalisation.
• Identifying good practice in support planning models and compare their cost effectiveness.
• Improvement of performance in relation to take up of personal health budgets.
Why is this important?
Personalisation is key to the improvement of adult social care, and underpins all new government agendas. Because it changes everything in how care and support is delivered, there is ongoing effort required to make sure that the full benefits of personalisation are realised in every local authority in the West Midlands.
